Terms Of Use

Terms for accessing and using DTC’s agency website.

Effective

Using This Website

These terms apply to Detroit Transportation Corporation’s (DTC’s) agency website at dtc-web.netlify.app. Use the site lawfully and in accordance with these terms. Separate rules apply to riding the People Mover, purchasing merchandise, submitting bids, applying for employment, or using outside services linked here.

Website Information & Official Records

DTC provides this website to explain its work, share public records, and help you find agency services. We work to keep information accurate, but pages may contain errors or become outdated. Contact DTC if you find an error or need to confirm information.

Project schedules, funding plans, meeting arrangements, and procurement opportunities may change. Project summaries do not guarantee a completion date, future transit service, or contract award. Review the latest meeting notice, solicitation and addenda, or original agency document for the requirements that apply. Summaries do not amend those documents or extend filing and response deadlines.

For current rider schedules, station access, and service alerts, use the People Mover website. Archived notices are historical records and should not be treated as current operating instructions.

Permitted Use

You may browse, link to, download, and print information for personal, noncommercial use, preserving applicable notices. You must not attempt unauthorized access, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, disrupt the website, impersonate DTC, or falsely suggest that DTC endorses you or your activities.

Nothing in these terms restricts uses permitted by applicable law or rights to request and use public records.

Copyright & Trademarks

Website text, photographs, graphics, and other materials may be protected by copyright or other rights held by DTC or the identified owner. Except where permitted by law or an applicable license, obtain the owner’s written permission before commercial reuse, republication, or modification.

DTC and People Mover names, logos, and other marks remain the property of their respective owners. Access to this site does not grant permission to use a mark or imply affiliation or endorsement. Direct permission requests to WebMaster@thepeoplemover.com.

Availability & Limitations

The website and its materials are provided as available and without warranties to the extent permitted by law. DTC does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or freedom from harmful software. To the extent permitted by law, DTC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, this website.

These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waive DTC’s applicable legal protections, or limit rights and obligations under public-records, accessibility, civil-rights, or other applicable law. Michigan law and applicable federal law govern these terms.

Privacy & Accessibility

Read our Privacy Policy for information about this site’s data practices. To report a website barrier or request an accessible document, see Website Accessibility. FOIA requests, Title VI complaints, and ADA requests and complaints follow their published procedures.

Updates & Contact

DTC may revise these terms as the website changes. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
